FLORIHANA ROMAN CHAMOMILE ORGANIC HYDROSOL

Hydrosols are sometimes referred to as hydrolats or floral waters. Hydrosols are the aromatic remains after the steam-distillation of botanical plants and flowers. They are an excellent complement to essential oils because they are gentle enough to be used directly on the skin and can be used on children and pets.

The Florihana Roman Chamomile Organic Hydrosol or Hydrolat (Chamaemelum Nobile) certified organic and 100% natural. It is obtained by steam distillation of the flowers in France. This product is classified as a natural aroma (edible).

Benefits for Skin 

The Florihana Roman Chamomile Organic Hydrosol has anti-inflammatory property, making it great as a toner for oily or acne-prone skin. It can also help to relieve muscular aches and arthritis conditions. As it is calming and safe, it is often used in baby care products. It is a wonderful addition to baby bath water or use it to wipe during diaper changes. Its soothing and relaxing properties are also useful for helping dry, flaking itchy skin from rashes or eczema.

To use as a toner, you can spritz it or simply soak a cotton pad in the liquid and wipe across the face with an upwards motion.

To create a soothing face mask, soak a paper mask in the hydrosol. Leave the mask on the face for 15 to 20 minutes and remove.
